Social Media Video Editor

Auxito is looking for a skilled video editor to join us on a contract basis through Upwork. We produce engaging short- and long-form video content, and we need someone who can take raw footage and turn it into polished, on-brand videos that hold attention from the first frame. This is an ongoing role with steady weekly work for the right person, with potential to grow into a long-term partnership. The day-to-day involves editing footage (interviews, B-roll, screen recordings, etc.), syncing audio, adding captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design, and delivering clean exports ready for publishing. You'll work from briefs and rough cuts, communicate progress async, and turn projects around within agreed timelines. Expect a mix of social cuts (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and longer pieces depending on the week. We're looking for someone who has: -integrity with remote work -responsible in terms of timelines and following editing directions -proactive in things like finding the right b-rolls and asking questions -good communication skills We're looking for 2+ years of professional editing experience, fluency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects a plus), a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and reliable communication.
