**Job Title:** Short-Form Video Editor / Social Content Repurposer — Documentary Tour Footage **Description:** We just wrapped a 4-city documentary screening tour and have a Google Drive full of raw footage — Q&As, audience testimonials, behind-the-scenes, and interviews. We need someone to turn this into a steady stream of social content. **What you'll do:** - Cut raw footage into short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) — 15-60 sec - Design still-image posts and carousels from photos/video stills/quotes for Instagram and Facebook - Add captions, hooks, and pattern breaks to keep retention high (we follow Hayden Hillier-Smith's editing framework — hook in first 2 sec, value every 15 sec, pattern break every 45 sec) - Pull the most compelling testimonial/quote moments and package them individually - Deliver a mix each week: a batch of shorts + a batch of static/carousel posts **You should have:** - A strong portfolio of short-form repurposing work (send examples of long-form → shorts) - Skill with captions/subtitles (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) - Eye for carousel/static design (Canva or similar) - Fast turnaround — we have ongoing tour stops and want content going out close to real-time **To apply:** Send 2-3 examples of similar repurposing work, and if possible a quick sample cut from a short clip we'll provide. **Budget:** [hourly range or flat weekly/monthly rate — your call] Want me to tighten this further or add a specific budget line?
