We already have a Marketing Manager on our team who handles SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads. This role is focused specifically on organic social media content and community management, and you'll work closely with her to ensure everything stays aligned across paid and organic channels. We're results-oriented — we want a manager who can show us practical, measurable outcomes, not just vanity metrics. Specifically, we're looking to grow local engagement (Bradenton/Sarasota area) that translates into real patient interest, and we'll expect regular reporting tied to that goal. What We're Looking For We need a Social Media Manager with healthcare/wellness industry experience who can own our content strategy end-to-end — from trend-spotting to scriptwriting to community engagement. This is not just a scheduling role; we want a strategic content partner who can help us build authority and attract patients in a competitive, highly regulated space. Responsibilities Trend research & strategy: Continuously monitor social media trends (especially Instagram Reels, TikTok, and short-form video) and translate them into content ideas relevant to HRT, weight loss, and concierge medicine audiences Scriptwriting: Write engaging, on-brand video scripts for our provider and staff to film using teleprompter tools — scripts should balance medical credibility with approachability and hook viewers in the first 3 seconds Content calendar management: Build and maintain a content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) aligned with campaigns, promotions, and seasonal demand Community engagement: Actively respond to comments, DMs, and inquiries from potential patients in a warm, professional, HIPAA-conscious manner that nurtures leads toward booking a consult Content creation support: Edit raw footage into polished reels/shorts; create graphics, carousels, and static posts as needed Performance analysis: Track engagement metrics and double down on what's converting — we've seen reels significantly outperform static content and want that insight sharpened further. We expect regular (monthly) reporting showing measurable growth in local engagement (comments, shares, saves, follows, DMs from our service area) — not just impressions or reach Brand consistency: Maintain a cohesive voice and aesthetic across our multiple service lines/brands while tailoring messaging to each audience (men's health vs. women's health vs. general DPC/weight loss) Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate regularly with our Marketing Manager (SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads) to ensure organic content and paid campaigns are aligned in messaging, timing, and offers — you'll own organic/social, she'll own paid/search Requirements 3+ years managing social media for a healthcare, wellness, aesthetics, or medical practice brand (required — please include relevant examples/portfolio) Proven experience writing scripts for on-camera talent/staff (not just influencers — comfortable directing non-professional presenters) Strong understanding of HIPAA-conscious engagement practices (no PHI in comments/DMs, appropriate disclaimers, etc.) Skilled in short-form video trends, hooks, and editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar) Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook business tools; bonus if familiar with HubSpot or similar CRM for lead tracking Excellent written communication — scripts need to sound natural on camera, not like a brochure Comfortable working with elective/cash-pay medical services (aesthetics, hormone therapy, weight loss) — familiarity with compliance-sensitive marketing (no medical claims that oversell outcomes) is a big plus Nice to Have Experience marketing TRT, HRT, GLP-1/weight loss, or regenerative medicine services specifically Experience collaborating with a separate paid media/SEO team or marketing manager on a shared content calendar A track record of growing an audience for a multi-location or multi-brand healthcare business
