Soft Goods Pattern Maker Needed for Premium Pet Product Prototype

Job Description: I am looking for an experienced soft goods pattern maker / technical designer to help develop initial prototype-ready sewing patterns for a premium pet product. The project involves a structured textile product with soft padding, removable covers, and an organic upholstered form. I need someone who can translate a visual concept into practical first-stage production files for testing with my sewing factory. This is not a garment project. Experience with cushions, upholstery, pet products, soft furniture, bean bags, bags, or other structured soft goods is highly preferred. Scope of work: * Create initial sewing pattern for one test size * Prepare prototype-ready DXF files * Prepare printable PDF pattern files * Add seam allowances and notches * Suggest practical zipper placement * Provide basic sewing/construction notes * Prepare simple cutting guidance for textile and padding elements * Include one revision after feedback from my sewing factory The goal is to create a first prototype pattern that can be tested and adjusted by our production team. Final production refinements may be done internally. Requirements: * Experience with soft goods pattern making * Ability to deliver DXF and PDF pattern files * Understanding of removable covers, zippers, padding, and structured textile products * Practical approach to prototyping and manufacturing * Portfolio with relevant examples preferred Please include in your application: 1.
