Software Engineer - Full Stack (React & NestJS)

Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer II to help design, develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications. You will work across both frontend and backend technologies, contribute to new feature development, troubleshoot production issues, and help improve application performance, scalability, and security. This role requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders. Note: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Responsibilities - Manage and resolve support tickets across multiple applications. - Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, identifying solutions, developing fixes, testing changes, and deploying updates with limited supervision. - Develop and maintain both frontend and backend application components. - Use backend programming languages and frontend scripting technologies to improve application performance, scalability, and security. - Write code for new and existing software solutions based on technical designs and specifications provided by senior engineering staff. - Work on assignments with defined parameters while exercising judgement and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations. - Install, configure, develop, monitor, maintain, and upgrade assigned software products. - Monitor application quality and performance through testing and ongoing maintenance. - Maintain accurate records of issues and defects within existing codebases. - Develop and execute unit tests for application components based on technical designs. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established programming standards, policies, and best practices. - Provide recommendations for business and system improvements when appropriate. - Obtain reviews and approvals for technical designs and unit test plans from senior developers. - Review technical designs and unit test plans created by other developers when required. - Present completed work for peer and management review and sign-off. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. - 3–5 years of relevant software engineering experience. Skills & Knowledge: - Consistent application of fundamental knowledge in application configuration, maintenance, and support. - Intermediate understanding of client/server network environments. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and program errors. - General understanding of how technology supports business operations. - Experience working with frontend and backend development technologies. - Ability to develop, test, maintain, and support software applications in production environments.
