Software Tester for the World Cup (EC, UY, CL, PE)

This opportunity is part of a trusted partnership between Testlio, a global testing and user research company and our client, a globally known streaming company. Testlio specializes in helping leading brands understand how people use their products through feedback from real users. Why You Are Here You’ve been invited to participate in case you're from Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile or Peru and are interested in testing out a streaming platform during the upcoming World Cup matches. We'll be asking you to test the app, and we'll provide detailed instructions, on these devices: - Samsung TV - LGTV - Android TV - Android Mobile - iOS Note: You need to have one of these devices in order to test. Requirements: Location: Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile or Peru Age: You must be 18 years or older to participate You must have one TV and one mobile device in order to test. - In scope TVs: Samsung TV, LGTV, Android TV - In Scope Mobile device: Android, iOS What to Expect Format: You will be asked to test a streaming app on your own device. We will provide detailed task descriptions which you can follow. If you encounter bugs, you will be expected to provide a detailed report. The core expectations will include: - Access provided build/environment - Log in with provided account - Help validate video/audio quality and the overall world cup experience via our client's streaming app. You will be asked/required to navigate/switch up to a maximum of 2 devices at a given/single duration of your testing task. - Update a status tracker (google sheets based) in real time - Communicate findings and questions to our test leads via rocket chat (RC) in real time - Log issue tickets in real time, capturing requested evidences/screenshots You will be asked to test the streaming app during the World Cup matches. It is crucial that you will be available for work during this time. How to access testing materials In order to access the testing materials and to keep in touch with the testing team during testing, you will be required to create an account on our website, Testlio. This takes approximately 30 minutes and will be paid. Once the contract is initiated, we will provide step-by-step instructions. - Language: English & Local Language. - Duration: We will be testing during all World Cup Matches. What Happens Next - You'll need to answer a few initial questions as part of your Upwork proposal bid - To further ensure that you're a good fit for this study, we'll expand the questions via messages. - If selected, you’ll be asked to first create an account on our Platform, Testlio. This is where the task will be assigned to you. Account creation will last approximately 30 minutes. Your information will be used only for research purposes and handled according to GDPR standards. All responses are stored securely and shared only with Testlio and our client.
