Software Tester (part time)

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. In this role, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying and documenting defects, verifying bug fixes, and helping ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This is a remote position requiring strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple testing tasks across multiple projects while working independently. Work Conditions: * Part-time position: approximately 2–4 hours per day. * Flexible working hours, with availability aligned to Dubai time when required. * Ability to respond promptly to messages and remain consistently available during working hours. * The role involves supporting multiple projects and handling administrative tasks, requiring strong planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills. * Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and provide regular progress updates. * Daily progress reports are required, and all working time must be tracked using Monitask. ____________ Responsibilities: * Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications. * Identify, reproduce, and document software defects. * Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing. * Prepare testing reports and document test results. * Collaborate with the development team throughout the defect resolution process. Requirements: * At least 1 year of experience in Manual QA. * Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). * Experience creating clear and detailed bug reports. * Knowledge of test design techniques. * Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar. * Understanding of REST APIs and experience with Postman or similar tools is a plus. * Experience testing web applications. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a responsible approach to work. _______________________ How to Apply: Please send your CV along with a short cover letter.
