Title: SolidWorks Expert Needed for Parametric Design & Template Setup (Ongoing Work Possible) Job Description: We are currently migrating our design workflows to SolidWorks and are looking for an experienced SolidWorks expert to help us build a strong foundation. This role will focus on creating reusable parametric models, templates, and structured design systems that our internal team can use efficiently. We’re not just looking for someone who can design — we need someone who can think in systems and build scalable, repeatable design frameworks. 🔧 Scope of Work: - Set up SolidWorks templates (parts, assemblies, drawings) - Build parametric models that can be reused across multiple products - Establish design standards and best practices - Create and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials) - Support in structuring design workflows for scalability - Provide guidance/training to internal team (if required) 🎯 What We’re Looking For: - Strong experience in SolidWorks (advanced level) - Proven expertise in parametric design - Experience in building reusable design systems/templates - Ability to think beyond one-off designs → focus on scalability - Experience working with assemblies, configurations, and BOMs - Good communication skills (important for collaboration) ⭐ Nice to Have: - Experience training or mentoring junior designers - Experience working with product-based or manufacturing companies - Exposure to process optimization in design workflows
