Sophos UTM to Sophos XGS Migration Engineer

Project Description We are looking for an experienced Sophos UTM / Sophos Firewall (SFOS) engineer to assist with the migration of a production Sophos UTM SG230 to a new Sophos Firewall XGS. This is a production environment, so we are looking for someone who has completed real Sophos UTM to XGS migrations and is familiar with the Sophos Migration Assistant (CLI) as well as manual migration tasks. A full UTM backup (.abf), configuration exports, and detailed documentation of the current environment will be provided. Current Environment The firewall currently includes: Sophos UTM SG230 Approximately 100 firewall rules NAT and Masquerading policies 12 Sophos RED devices (RED 15 & SD-RED 20) Multiple Site-to-Site IPsec VPNs L2TP/IPsec Remote Access VPN (RADIUS authentication) Active Directory integration RADIUS authentication Sophos WAF / Reverse Proxy Microsoft Exchange publishing (OWA, EWS, Autodiscover, OAB, RPC) Multiple published websites and web applications HTML5 VPN Portal SSL Certificates IPS enabled Scope of Work The selected engineer will assist with: Reviewing the existing UTM configuration. Preparing the Sophos XGS for migration. Using the Sophos Migration Assistant (CLI). Validating the imported configuration. Recreating configuration that is not automatically migrated. Configuring and validating: Firewall Rules NAT & Masquerading Site-to-Site IPsec VPNs RED devices Remote Access VPN WAF / Reverse Proxy SSL Certificates Active Directory & RADIUS integration Troubleshooting and validating all production services during the migration.
