Sourcing Agent for Factory Outreach

I'm looking for an experienced sourcing agent to manage apparel factory outreach and sampling across India and Turkey. What you'll be doing: - Identify and vet 2–3 factories in India and 2–3 in Turkey that specialize in womenswear with moderate-to-quality construction - Send our tech pack + sample to shortlisted factories and manage the RFQ process - Collect standardized quotes (price per unit, MOQ, lead time, sample cost) across all factories so I can compare apples to apples - Coordinate sample production and shipping back to me in NYC - Be my point of contact throughout — I should never have to chase a factory directly Production specs: - 1 style (dress with built-in bodysuit/shorts layer) - 100 pieces total, 2 colorways - Target unit cost: $20-40 USD - Target markets: India (flexible construction, English-friendly) and Turkey (quality craftsmanship, lower tariffs) Project Scope - Timeline: Urgent — I need to ship a sample to you within days of hiring, and factory outreach should begin by June 23. - Duration: This engagement covers sampling through production order (roughly 6–8 weeks). Strong potential to continue for future styles. - Hours: Part-time / project-based. Roughly 5–10 hrs/week during the sampling phase.
