Sourcing Agent for Foshan Furniture

We are seeking a reliable sourcing agent in Foshan, China, to assist with furniture purchasing and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in sourcing and purchasing furniture, ensuring high quality standards, competitive pricing, and timely delivery. Fluency in Chinese and English is essential for effective communication. German language skills are considered a strong advantage. Your main responsibilities will include: * Identifying and researching suitable furniture manufacturers and suppliers * Communicating directly with furniture suppliers and manufacturers * Negotiating prices and terms * Conducting strict quality control inspections * Managing and coordinating local logistics and operations in China * Supporting the export process and shipment coordination to Paraguay Please note that we already have established import contacts and structures in Paraguay. Therefore, the most important part of this role is reliable on-site handling in China, especially regarding quality control, supplier communication, price negotiations, and smooth operational execution. We own a furniture store in Paraguay and also supply furniture stores throughout Paraguay. We are looking for a long-term cooperation partner. If the work quality and reliability meet our expectations, regular follow-up orders and ongoing projects will be guaranteed. Fast, professional, and efficient work will be rewarded accordingly. Payment can be arranged either on an hourly basis or as a fixed project fee, depending on the candidate’s preference and the scope of work. Our focus is on furniture for the middle-class market: products with distinctive design, solid quality, and a strong price-performance ratio. At the moment, we are especially interested in products such as the Hippo Coffee Table and compressed sofas.
