Sourcing Agent for Kids DIY Craft Kits

I am looking for an experienced sourcing agent to help locate and vet a reliable factory that can manufacture children’s DIY wooden craft/building kits. The product is a small hands-on activity kit for children, typically designed for ages 4–12 with adult supervision. The ideal factory should be able to produce complete packaged kits including: - Pre-cut wooden parts, preferably smooth, child-safe, and ready to assemble - Pre-drilled holes where required - Small hardware such as nails, screws, dowels, pegs, or similar assembly components - Optional simple plastic or functional parts where needed - Decorative elements such as stickers, decals, labels, or printed components - Optional paint pots, brush, or other customization materials - Printed step-by-step assembly instructions with simple diagrams - Ability to support custom kit designs and recurring themed SKUs The product should be safe, durable, and suitable for children’s craft/building activities. I am especially interested in suppliers with experience producing wooden craft kits, educational toys, STEM/STEAM activity products, kids’ woodworking kits, promotional activity kits, or private-label retail craft kits. The sourcing agent should provide: - A shortlist of qualified factories, preferably in China, Vietnam, India, or another cost-effective manufacturing region - Factory profiles, product examples, MOQs, lead times, and indicative pricing - Confirmation of experience with children’s products and relevant safety/compliance standards Information on material options, including plywood, pine, MDF, basswood, or other child-safe wood alternatives - Packaging options and estimated carton dimensions/weights - Ability to create custom designs based on reference images, drawings, or concept briefs - Sample timeline, production timeline, and payment terms - Support with communication, quotation comparison, and initial negotiation
