Worldwide Local Footwear Sourcing Expert Needed in León, Mexico – Technical Plastic Sheet Materials We are seeking a sourcing expert based in or familiar with León, Mexico, with strong connections to local material suppliers, plastics distributors, and manufacturing networks. Our immediate goal is to identify and procure small sample quantities of technical sheet plastics for footwear development and testing. Materials Needed: • Nylon 6 sheet at approximately 1.0 mm (0.040 in) thickness • Nylon 6/6 sheet at approximately 1.0 mm (0.040 in) thickness • TPU sheet at approximately 1.0 mm (0.040 in) thickness (Lubrizol Estane or equivalent) • Glass-reinforced nylon sheet at approximately 1.0 mm thickness with 10–30% glass fill • Glass-reinforced TPU sheet at approximately 1.0 mm thickness with 10–30% reinforcement (materials such as Tepex Dynalite or similar are of interest) For initial evaluation, we only require small sample quantities. Pieces as small as 8.5 x 11 inches (letter size) would be sufficient for our testing of strength, flexibility, and durability characteristics. Once testing is complete and suitable materials are identified, we anticipate requesting larger-volume quotations and establishing ongoing supplier relationships.
