Sourcing / Project Manager in Shenzhen area

Scope of Work - China-Based Project Manager / Sourcing Agent ABOUT THE ROLE Inito is hiring an on-the-ground Project Manager / Sourcing Agent based in or near Shenzhen to act as our local representative for electronics / electro-mechanical product manufacturing. You'll be our eyes, ears, and hands in China - owning sourcing, supplier management, audits, and QC end-to-end. Open to individuals, small teams, or agencies. Best fit wins. RESPONSIBILITIES Sourcing: Identify and shortlist qualified manufacturers (Alibaba, trade shows, direct outreach). Provide structured comparisons with capabilities, certifications, MOQs, lead times, and pricing. Supplier evaluation and audits: Conduct in-person factory audits (capacity, QMS, compliance) with written reports. Assist and coordinate Inito's own audits when our team visits. Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, IP protection, and tooling ownership. Translate and review bilingual contracts. Actively enforce them - escalate delays, defects, and breaches. Communication and representation: Be our single point of contact in China. Translate across WeChat, email, calls, and in-person meetings. Represent Inito professionally. Project management: Own production timelines from PO to shipment - tooling, samples, pilot runs, mass production. Track milestones, flag risks, drive corrective action. Quality control: Conduct or commission incoming, in-process (DUPRO), and pre-shipment (PSI) inspections with AQL sampling. Provide photo/video reports before payment release. REQUIREMENTS Based in Shenzhen or the Pearl River Delta (on-site factory visits required). Fluent Mandarin and professional English. Verifiable track record in electronics / electro-mechanical sourcing (please share 2-3 case studies). Strong factory network in South China. Audit and QC capability (in-house or via partners). Nice to have: engineering background, QC firm relationships (SGS, QIMA, etc.), experience with regulated product categories, logistics coordination.
