Sourcing & Quality Control Assistant (Vietnam) – Engineering Manufacturing

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sourcing Assistant based in Vietnam to join our team. You will be our boots on the ground, helping us identify great suppliers, ensure product quality, and manage the supply chain smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Sourcing Specialist End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle from managing RFQs (Request for Quotations) to overseeing production and coordinating final shipping. Supplier Sourcing: Identify, vet, and build relationships with reliable manufacturing partners in Vietnam. Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct on-site or remote quality checks using standard QC instruments. Accurate Reporting: Maintain clear and professional documentation, including RFQ reports, production updates, and detailed inspection reports. Requirements Engineering Experience: Proven experience working with manufacturing processes such as forging, die casting, metal stamping, or similar fields. QC Instrument Proficiency: Must be highly skilled in using basic QC measurement tools—at a minimum, you must be proficient with a caliper, micrometer, and height gauge. Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to negotiate, source materials, and evaluate supplier capabilities. Supply Chain Knowledge: A solid understanding of how to move a product from the quotation phase through production and into shipping.
