Sourcing Recruiter – Part-Time Program Coordinator (Hong Kong)

We are launching a grassroots volunteer tutoring initiative in Hong Kong providing targeted Chinese Language support (Cantonese literacy, reading/writing, and spoken foundation) for underprivileged Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) / ethnic minority students. We need a Hong Kong-based recruiter or talent sourcing specialist to conduct an end-to-end search to hire one Part-Time Program Coordinator (budgeted at 6,000 HKD/month for ~10–12 hours/week). Recruiter Deliverables: Job Distribution: Post the Program Coordinator role across local channels (university career boards targeting EdUHK, HKU Faculty of Education, CUHK, PolyU, and local NGO/education job boards). Candidate Screening: Screen applicants against language (Cantonese/English) and relevant education/community experience (TCSL, NCS student support, or NGO youth work). Shortlist Delivery: Present a shortlist of 3–5 pre-screened candidates with brief evaluation notes. Interview Coordination: Help coordinate final interviews. Ideal Coordinator Profile: Fluent in Cantonese and English. Background in Education (Teaching Chinese as a Second Language preferred), Chinese Language Education, or Social Work with an ethnic minority focus. Highly organized, proactive, and capable of coordinating volunteers and school/center schedules.
