Spanish to English (US) Translator/Editor for Puzzle Book

We're a small publishing company producing puzzle and activity books, and we're looking for a native US English speaker to translate one of our finished Spanish-language puzzle books into English. About the project: The book is already fully designed in Canva with all infographics and layouts in place. What we need is a clean, natural English translation of: 1. All body text, headlines, and instructions 2. The puzzles themselves (riddles, logic puzzles, word-based puzzles, etc.) For some puzzles, a direct translation won't work because the wordplay or logic depends on the Spanish language. In those cases, we'd like you to adapt the puzzle so it works just as well in English, keeping the spirit and difficulty level rather than translating word for word. Requirements: 1. Native US English speaker (this is essential, the final book must read smoothly to an American reader) 2. Fluent in Spanish, ideally with previous translation experience 3. Comfortable adapting content (not just translating literally) when puzzles or wordplay require it 4. Attention to detail and good sense for tone and rhythm AI tools: Feel free to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, DeepL, etc.) as part of your workflow, we have no problem with that. What matters is that the final result reads natural and polished, not machine-translated. Anyone who relies purely on AI without a careful human pass will be noticed quickly. Nice to have: 1. Basic Canva skills (so you can place the English text directly into the existing design) 2. Experience with puzzle books, children's books, or educational content 3. Long-term availability, if this first project goes well we'd love to continue working together on more titles How to apply: Please include: 1.
