Spanish (Spain) SEO Content Writer & Localization Specialist | English to Spanish Blog Localization

We're expanding into the Spanish market and are looking for a native Spanish speaker from Spain with strong SEO experience to help us build topical authority in Spanish. This is not a simple translation project. The goal is to rank on Google Spain. Scope of Work You'll help us localize our highest-performing English blog content into natural Spanish used in Spain, while optimizing every article for Spanish search intent. The initial project includes: Translating and localizing approximately 12–15 English blog articles Researching the best Spanish keywords for each article Rewriting content where necessary so it reads as if it were originally written in Spanish Optimizing each article for SEO Creating 3–5 new Spanish articles based on keyword opportunities that don't exist in our English blog Implementing an internal linking strategy based on our Spanish topical map Your Responsibilities For each article you will: Translate and localize the content into natural Spanish (Spain) Research the best primary and secondary keywords Optimize the article for Spanish search intent Improve headings where necessary Write SEO-friendly titles and meta descriptions Suggest optimized URL slugs Ensure the content reads naturally—not like a translation Internal Linking We already have a proposed Spanish topical map. The English internal links must not simply be copied. Instead, you will: Replace English internal links with the appropriate Spanish articles Link supporting articles to their corresponding pillar pages Recommend additional internal links where appropriate Use placeholder links for future Spanish articles when needed Help improve our Spanish topical architecture if you identify better opportunities Deliverables For each article, provide: Google Doc for review Shopify-ready HTML The HTML must include: Proper H1, H2 and H3 structure Linked table of contents Images in the exact same positions as the original article Existing image URLs reused (do not replace the images) Clean HTML ready to paste directly into Shopify Also provide separately: Blog title SEO title Meta description URL slug Primary keyword Secondary keywords Article excerpt Requirements Please apply only if you: Are a native Spanish speaker from Spain Have proven experience writing SEO content for the Spanish market Understand keyword research and search intent Know how to localize content rather than translate it literally Have experience with travel, e-commerce, or lifestyle content Can think strategically about topical authority and internal linking
