UX/UI Specialist: Redesign of a Mission-Critical Role-Based Hospital Communication System

Project Overview We are looking for a visionary, world-class Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the complete visual and functional redesign of our role-based hospital communication platform. Our app is currently functional and feature-complete, but we are ready to elevate it into a sleek, modern, and high-performance product that competes on a global scale. This project involves a comprehensive overhaul of our mobile application (iOS/Android) for frontline staff and our centralized Web Portal used for system administration, infrastructure settings, and data analytics. The goal is to move away from a "functional" interface to a world-class user experience that is intuitive, aesthetically stunning, and optimized for high-pressure medical environments. Our app manages critical communication across various roles (Doctors, Nurses, Admins, and Support Staff). Your task is to audit our existing app features and logic, then redesign the entire interface to ensure that the most important information is always at the user's fingertips, regardless of their role; improving user experience. Scope of Work • Comprehensive Audit: Review the existing mobile app and web portal to understand user flows, role-based permissions, and current pain points. • Mobile UI/UX Redesign: Transform the current mobile interface into a sleek, professional aesthetic, ensuring mission-critical alerts and messaging are prioritized. • Web Portal & Admin Redesign: Completely architect the centralized management portal. This includes complex setting configurations, user/role management, and deep administrative controls to ensure the backend experience is as intuitive as the mobile app. The web version of the will need to be designed from scratch. • Analytics & Data Visualization: Design sophisticated analytics dashboards that transform raw data into actionable insights through clear, modern data visualization (charts, graphs, and reporting tables). • Design System Creation: Build a scalable UI Kit/Design System (Components, Typography, Color Palettes) in Figma to ensure future features remain consistent across both web and mobile. • Iterative Prototyping: Deliver high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for mobile (iOS/Android) and web. • Feedback Loops: Work closely with our team to incorporate feedback and iterate on designs until they meet our "world-class" standard. Required Qualifications Proven Portfolio: You must showcase previous work with complex SaaS platforms, communication apps, and data-rich administrative dashboards. UX Expertise: Deep understanding of Information Architecture and User Personas (especially role-based access). Tooling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including Auto-layout, Variables, and Prototyping). Data Visualization Skills: Proven ability to design clean, readable analytics pages that handle large amounts of information without overwhelming the user. Mobile-First Mindset: Experience designing for mobile responsiveness and native-app feel. Attention to Detail: You should be obsessed with pixel-perfect implementation and consistent spacing. Project Deliverables 1. Full high-fidelity Figma files (Mobile App + Web Portal). 2. Comprehensive Analytics & Admin Dashboard designs. 3. Clickable, interactive prototypes for user testing. 4. A comprehensive Design System/UI Kit. 5. All source assets (Icons, Illustrations, etc.).
