Specialist Squarespace Designer/Developer

We're a web design studio rebuilding the website of a Jersey arts charity on Squarespace 7.1. The work is design-led and custom, not a stock template. We provide the Figma designs and direction. You build them faithfully in Squarespace and set it up so a non-technical in-house team can manage it confidently after launch. The project can start with the homepage and build out page by page, so this can run as an ongoing per-page arrangement. Scope (full site): - Around 9 custom page designs (home, about, what's on, projects, opportunities, support us, news, venues, contact) - 4 CMS collections (events and exhibitions, projects, opportunities, news) so the team self-manages content - Forms for grant, commission and residency applications, with conditional logic - Donations and recurring giving, plus a Mailchimp newsletter signup - Event listings with upcoming and past states and filtering - Image galleries, site search, accessibility pass, mobile-first, 301 redirects, analytics Must-haves: - Proven custom Squarespace 7.1 work with custom CSS and code injection, clearly beyond default templates - Confident CMS and forms setup for non-technical editors - Pixel-faithful builds from Figma - Clean handover with light documentation Nice to have: arts, culture or charity experience. How we work: we own the design and the client relationship. You build to spec, we review at checkpoints, and the site stays on Squarespace so the client keeps full control. Budget: fixed price, around £120 per unique page or template.
