About Us We are an independent slot game studio producing games for a major crypto gaming platform. Our games use Spine 2D for all symbol animations. We provide cleaned, print-ready PNG assets — our in-house team handles all art generation and asset preparation. Your job is to rig those assets and produce the named animation set our game engine requires. What You'll Be Doing For each game, you'll receive a set of cleaned PNG assets — typically 9–10 symbols — and you'll deliver a single Spine skeleton file (.skel or .json) with an accompanying .atlas, containing the complete named animation set for every symbol. The integration target is the Spine PixiJS v8 runtime. The Required Animation Set Every symbol needs the following named animations, consistently: [symbol]_static — idle loop, plays continuously during normal gameplay [symbol]_win — win celebration animation, plays before dissolve dissolve — shared exit animation, plays after every winning symbol before removal Multiplier symbol additionally needs: mult_static mult_win Bonus/scatter symbol additionally needs: bonus_static bonus_win All animations must be named exactly as specified — the game engine references them by string. Art Direction Source art will be AI-generated and cleaned to a production-ready standard by our in-house team before it reaches you. Your job is to bring it to life within the constraints of the Spine rig. Animations should feel punchy and satisfying — not subtle. The quality bar is professional, production-grade slot game animation. What We Need From You Non-negotiable: Spine 2D — intermediate to advanced, you've shipped production skeleton files before Understanding of Spine's atlas packing and export pipeline — you deliver game-ready files, not source-only Experience rigging symbol-style assets — objects, characters, icons — not just human character rigs Clean mesh deformation — symbols should deform naturally on win animations without artefacting Ability to work to a named animation spec and deliver consistently Strong advantage: Has worked on slot game assets before Familiar with Spine PixiJS runtime constraints Can produce squash/stretch, bounce, and particle-style effects within Spine Fast turnaround — a full symbol set (10 symbols, 3 animations each) should be achievable in 1–2 weeks What We Provide Cleaned, layered PNGs ready for rigging — no background removal or raw asset prep needed on your end A clear animation spec document per game with reference videos where relevant Direct communication with the developer for any runtime integration questions Prompt feedback and clear approvals What to Expect This is a full-time remote role. Each game has a defined symbol set and animation spec — your workflow will be consistent and well-supported. You'll work closely with both the studio owner and developer, with no agency middleman.
