Sponsorship Sales Consultant (Commission-Based)

About FWD Fashion Group FWD Fashion Group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering emerging fashion designers through mentorship, education, funding opportunities, and industry exposure. Through our Next in the District Designer Competition and other programs, we provide resources that help designers build sustainable businesses and advance their careers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Consultant to secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships that support our upcoming fashion show, designer grant program, and year-round initiatives. Responsibilities * Identify and cultivate sponsorship opportunities with corporations, foundations, and community partners * Conduct outreach to marketing, community relations, philanthropy, DEI, and partnership decision-makers * Present sponsorship opportunities and customized partnership packages * Schedule and participate in sponsor meetings * Negotiate sponsorship agreements and secure commitments * Maintain an organized sponsorship pipeline and provide regular updates * Support long-term sponsor relationship development and renewals Sponsorship Opportunities Potential partners may support: * Next in the District Designer Competition & Runway Show * Designer Grant Program * Entrepreneurial and Business Development Workshops * Networking and Community Events * VIP Experiences, Swag Bags, and Brand Activations Ideal Candidate * Proven experience securing sponsorships, partnerships, or fundraising support * Strong network of corporate and community contacts * Experience working with nonprofits, events, arts organizations, fashion, lifestyle, or community-focused initiatives * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Compensation Performance-Based Compensation We are open to discussing commission structures with qualified candidates. Our suggested structure is: * 10% commission on sponsorships under $10,000 * 15% commission on sponsorships of $10,000 and above * Commission paid upon receipt of sponsorship funds * No cap on earnings * Opportunity for ongoing engagement based on performance and sponsorship renewals We welcome proposals from experienced sponsorship professionals who can demonstrate a successful track record of securing corporate partnerships and sponsorship revenue.
