# Sports Community Marketing & Outreach Specialist — MLB/NFL We are looking for **U.S.-based MLB and NFL fans** to help increase awareness of TradeXSports, a sports trading platform built for fans who want to put their sports knowledge to the test. We are currently focused on **MLB and preparing for NFL**, and we're looking for people who understand American sports culture and already know where passionate sports fans spend time online. ## What You'll Do You will be responsible for researching and conducting community outreach for TradeXSports. Your responsibilities will include: * Find active MLB and NFL communities relevant to TradeXSports. * Research independent sports forums, team communities, fantasy sports communities, Facebook Groups, Discord servers, and similar communities. * Review the rules of each community before conducting outreach. * Identify communities that permit promotional, sponsored, or product-related content. * Introduce TradeXSports in appropriate communities where doing so is permitted. * Use TradeXSports-provided promotional materials when appropriate. * Customize your messaging for the community rather than mass-posting identical messages. * Respond professionally to questions or comments generated by your outreach. * Provide links/screenshots showing completed outreach. * Provide a short summary of the communities targeted and any engagement or feedback received. **All outreach must comply with the rules of the community where it is posted.** We do not want spam, fake accounts, fake reviews, misleading recommendations, or posts in communities that prohibit promotional content. ## Who We're Looking For You should: * Actively follow MLB and/or NFL. * Understand American sports culture. * Be familiar with online sports communities. * Know where passionate baseball and football fans spend time online. * Have strong written English communication skills. * Understand the difference between genuine community engagement and spam. Existing participation in sports forums, fantasy leagues, Facebook Groups, Discord servers, team communities, or similar communities is a major plus. ## When Applying Please answer: 1. We plan to hire multiple people for the initial test. Successful freelancers who identify strong communities, conduct quality outreach, and generate genuine engagement may be offered **additional ongoing work** as TradeXSports expands into NFL and additional sports. Quality matters more than the number of posts. We are looking for genuine exposure to relevant sports fans, not mass promotion.
