Startup Operations & Delivery Manager (Founder Right Hand)

We are a growing US-based fintech software company looking for a Startup Operations & Delivery Manager to work directly with the founder and help improve team accountability, delivery speed, workload planning, and overall execution. You will oversee day-to-day operational execution across a remote team of developers and QA staff, helping ensure projects stay on track, resources are allocated effectively, payroll exposure is monitored, and priorities are being executed. Responsibilities Monitor developer and QA workloads, utilization, and timesheets Forecast payroll and staffing needs Track project and sprint progress Follow up on blockers and overdue work Improve accountability and team performance Communicate operational changes to the team Assist with onboarding, performance tracking, and general people operations Provide weekly operational summaries and recommendations to the founder Ideal Candidate Experience working with remote software development teams Startup, SaaS, fintech, or software agency experience Strong operations, leadership, and organizational skills Comfortable holding people accountable and driving execution Excellent written and verbal English communication Able to work independently and challenge assumptions when necessary
