# Static Ads Designer – Meta Performance Creative We are looking for a highly creative and commercially minded Static Ads Designer to help us produce high-performing paid social creative for Meta. This role is not just about making ads look good — we are looking for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, click, and convert. You will create static image ads that feel native to Meta, are on-brand, and are built with performance in mind. You will work closely with the founder and marketing team to turn offers, products, customer insights, and campaign ideas into winning creative that can be tested, scaled, and refreshed regularly. ## Key Responsibilities * Design high-converting static ad creatives for Meta platforms including Facebook and Instagram. * Create multiple variations of ads for testing, including different hooks, headlines, formats, offers, visuals, and calls to action. * Turn product benefits, customer reviews, UGC, promotions, seasonal moments, and campaign ideas into strong visual ad concepts. * Use AI tools to generate and enhance ad creative, including product imagery, backgrounds, lifestyle scenes, concepts, variations, and attention-grabbing visuals. * Produce creative that is designed for performance, not just aesthetics. * Analyse what is working in existing ads and create new iterations based on winning concepts. * Keep up with Meta ad trends, competitor activity, creative formats, and best-performing styles. * Create ads for launches, seasonal campaigns, gifting moments, promotions, bundles, bestsellers, and retargeting. * Ensure all ads are delivered in the correct formats and sizes for Meta placements. * Work quickly and efficiently, producing fresh creative on an ongoing basis to avoid ad fatigue. * Collaborate closely with the founder to test ideas, respond to results, and improve creative week by week. ## What We’re Looking For * Proven experience designing static paid social ads for Meta. * Strong portfolio showing performance-led ad creative, not just brand design. * Understanding of direct response marketing, conversion-focused design, hooks, urgency, social proof, offers, and calls to action. * Experience creating multiple creative variations for testing. * Confident using AI creative tools to generate high-quality ad concepts and assets. * Strong skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools. * Good understanding of Meta ad formats and what works across Facebook and Instagram. * Ability to take a brief and turn it into a range of strong, testable creative ideas. * Fast turnaround times and willingness to work in a high-growth, fast-moving environment. * Strong eye for branding, typography, layout, colour, product presentation, and customer psychology. ## AI Experience You should be comfortable using AI as part of your creative process. This may include tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Ideogram, Runway, or similar platforms. We are looking for someone who can use AI to support the creative process, generate fresh concepts quickly, create variations at scale, and help us stay ahead of creative fatigue — while still ensuring the finished ads feel premium, on-brand, and commercially effective. ## Nice to Have * Experience in ecommerce, food, gifting, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands. * Experience working with a performance marketing team or media buyer. * Understanding of creative testing frameworks and Meta ad account performance. * Experience creating video ads, UGC-style content, or motion graphics as well as statics. * Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, or ecommerce customer journeys. ## How Success Will Be Measured * Strong volume of high-quality static creatives produced each month. * Improved click-through rate, conversion rate, and return on ad spend. * Regular testing of new hooks, angles, offers, and visual concepts. * Ability to identify and build on winning ad formats. * Reduced creative fatigue through ongoing creative refreshes. ## To Apply Please send: * Examples of Meta static ads you have designed. * Any examples where your creative improved performance or helped scale a campaign. * A short explanation of how you use AI in your design process. * Your availability, rates, and turnaround times.
