You have a single frame. No movement. No sound. No second chances. Either it works or it doesn't. Here's what we need: You think like a copywriter and design like a killer. You know that the headline does 80% of the work and the visual does the other 80%. You've stopped arguing about which matters more because you've learned to master both. You understand the Meta feed at a molecular level. You've scrolled it enough to know exactly what blends in and exactly what stops a thumb. You design for the platform — not for your portfolio. You build ads that feel native. Not polished. Not corporate. Not like an ad. The best static ad is one that looks like it belongs in someone's feed — until the message hits and they can't scroll past it. You obsess over the hook. The visual hook. The headline hook. The offer hook. You know that attention is borrowed and conversion is earned — and every element of your creative either earns its place or gets cut. What you'll actually do: → Create static image ads that drive clicks and conversions — primarily for Meta (Facebook + Instagram) → Concept, design, and copy your own ads from brief to finished asset → Build in multiple formats — feed, story, reel cover, carousel → Use AI image tools to move fast without sacrificing quality → Study the competitive landscape and know what's winning in the feed right now → Iterate ruthlessly based on performance data — kill what isn't working, scale what is → Speak and write in flawless English — because great copy is half the ad → Work directly with founders who move fast and reward results What this is NOT: ✗ A brand design role ✗ A "make it pretty" role ✗ A role where you'll wait 3 weeks for approval on a color palette ✗ A place for people who optimize for likes instead of purchases Here's who thrives here: You've built a static ad that actually sold something. You remember the brief. You remember the tweak that made it work. You've felt the difference between creative that performs and creative that just exists. You're a student of the game. You save ads that stop you. You have a swipe file that would embarrass most agencies. You can look at a winning ad and tell me in 30 seconds exactly why it's winning. You move fast.
