Summary

We are looking for a highly creative Static Ad Editor who understands direct response advertising and can create high-performing static ads for Meta. This role is not just about making ads look good. You need to understand why an ad works, how to match the creative to the customer’s awareness level, and how to write clear, direct, emotionally relevant copy that makes someone stop scrolling. You will be responsible for creating static image ads from concept to final design, including the headline, supporting copy, layout, image direction, and overall creative execution. Responsibilities • Create static ads for Meta that are designed to drive clicks, conversions, and profitable customer acquisition • Develop new ad concepts based on customer pain points, emotions, product benefits, and proven direct response angles • Write your own ad copy, including hooks, headlines, subheadlines, callouts, and supporting text • Understand and apply the 3 key customer awareness levels when creating ads: - Trigger Awareness: The customer is feeling a problem but may not fully understand what is causing it yet - Exploration Awareness: The customer is actively looking for answers, explanations, or possible solutions - Evaluation Awareness: The customer understands the problem and is comparing products, mechanisms, benefits, or offers • Create ads that match the customer’s current mindset instead of using generic headlines • Turn creative briefs, customer research, and product angles into strong static ad concepts • Work with the creative team to test new hooks, visual formats, angles, and messaging styles • Analyze winning ads and understand the creative strategy behind them • Create variations of winning concepts without simply copying the same ad repeatedly • Ensure the final static ads are clean, easy to read, visually strong, and aligned with the brand • Balance strong direct response messaging with tasteful, compliant, and brand-appropriate execution Requirements - Experience creating static ads for eCommerce, DTC, supplements, wellness, beauty, or similar direct response brands - Strong understanding of Meta ads and what makes someone stop scrolling - Ability to write clear, compelling ad copy without relying on a copywriter for every concept - Strong understanding of customer awareness levels and how messaging changes at each stage - Ability to create ads that speak directly to customer problems, desires, objections, and emotions - Strong design sense, including layout, hierarchy, typography, spacing, and visual clarity - Ability to create multiple ad concepts quickly while maintaining quality - Comfortable receiving feedback and improving concepts based on performance data - Strong attention to detail - Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools - Understanding of direct response principles is a major plus What We Are Looking For - We want someone who can think like a creative strategist, write like a direct response marketer, and design like a performance-focused editor. - The right person should be able to look at a product angle and create multiple static ad concepts that are visually engaging, emotionally specific, and written for the right awareness level. - You should not need every headline handed to you. You should be able to study the customer, understand what they are feeling, and turn that into strong static ads that can be tested on Meta. Bonus Points - Experience with women’s wellness, supplements, beauty, postpartum, or health-related products - Experience creating ads for high-spend Meta ad accounts - Ability to break down why an ad works or does not work - Ability to use AI tools to speed up concepting, copywriting, and design iteration - Understanding of direct response frameworks, hooks, mechanisms, objections, and offer positioning
