Stick Figure Animation for Explainer Videos Editor
Worldwide
About the Project: I'm building a YouTube channel called "put simply" focused on educational explainer content in the style of popular stick figure/cartoon animation channels. Think clean whiteboard-style or 2D cartoon animations with text, simple characters, and engaging motion, similar to channels like "Explain The Things", "Everything Professor", or "easy, actually" animated explainers. I need a talented editor/animator who can take my scripts and turn them into polished, engaging videos from start to finish. Project Scope Each video will be roughly 8–15 minutes long and will include: Stick figure or simple 2D cartoon character animation synced to narration Text-to-speech (TTS) narration you will handle generating and integrating this (ElevenLabs or similar preferred) On-screen text, labels, callouts, and kinetic typography Simple scene transitions and animated elements that reinforce the script Background music (royalty-free) mixed under narration Color-consistent, branded visual style across episodes Final export optimized for YouTube (1080p or 4K, 16:9) What You'll Receive From Me Full written script Topic direction and reference videos Brand color palette and any style preferences Feedback on drafts (typically one revision round) Ideal Candidate: Has a portfolio that includes explainer videos, cartoon animation, or whiteboard-style content Experienced with tools such as Adobe After Effects, Vyond, Animaker, Doodly, or similar Comfortable working with TTS tools (ElevenLabs, Murf, etc.) Strong sense of pacing, knows how to keep viewers engaged over an 8–15 minute video Reliable, communicates clearly, and meets deadlines Can match an existing visual style across multiple videos Nice to Have: A Discord Account (for calls and checkins) Experience growing or editing for a YouTube channel Ability to suggest improvements to pacing or visual storytelling Sample videos in a similar stick figure or cartoon explainer style Budget & Volume: Please quote your per-video rate in your proposal. I'm looking for an ongoing relationship with the right editor, this is not a one-off project. If the first video goes well, expect consistent weekly or bi-weekly work. How to Apply In your proposal, please include: Links to 2–3 relevant video samples (stick figure, cartoon, or explainer style strongly preferred) The TTS tool(s) you're comfortable using Your estimated turnaround time per video Your per-video rate Proposals without portfolio samples will not be considered.
