AI Story Generation & Voice Narration Mobile App (iOS / Android)

We are looking for an experienced mobile developer (or small team) to build an AI-powered storytelling application for iOS and Android. Project Overview The app will allow users to generate stories using AI and listen to them as natural voice narration. The core idea is to combine text generation and text-to-speech into a seamless user experience. Users will be able to enter a prompt, generate a complete story, and immediately listen to it in a selected voice. Key Features (MVP Scope) AI-powered story generation based on user input prompts Structured story output (e.g., chapters or sections if needed) Text-to-speech conversion of generated stories Voice selection (multiple predefined AI voices) Audio playback with basic player controls (play/pause/seek) Save and access previously generated stories Simple user history screen Optional / Future Enhancements User accounts and authentication Voice cloning or custom voice uploads (if technically feasible) Download/share audio files Story categories (kids, fantasy, education, etc.) Emotional tone control for narration Subscription or monetization model integration Technical Requirements We are flexible on the tech stack, but experience with the following is preferred: Flutter or React Native (mobile development) OpenAI API or similar LLMs for story generation Text-to-Speech APIs (e.g., ElevenLabs, OpenAI TTS, Amazon Polly) Backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) Experience integrating AI APIs into production apps What We’re Looking For Proven experience building mobile applications Hands-on experience with AI API integrations (LLMs + TTS) Ability to design clean and scalable app architecture Strong understanding of audio playback and media handling Attention to performance and user experience Goal We are aiming to build a stable MVP that demonstrates the full flow: User prompt → AI story generation → Voice narration → Playback experience This is an opportunity for long-term collaboration if the initial build is successful.
