Storytelling & Narrative Writer

Stories have the power to shift culture, challenge systems, and inspire action. We're looking for a few writers who believes in that power. Our social movement non-profit is seeking 2-3 editorial storytellers to help document the voices, experiences, and impact of our community. Through thoughtful interviews and compelling writing, you'll help bring to life lived and learned journeys of entrepreneurs, partners, and changemakers in our community. What You'll Do • Interview entrepreneurs, partners, funders, and community members • Craft authentic stories that elevate lived experience and community impact • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and human-centered narratives • Support campaigns, publications, and thought leadership that advance our mission • Help shape the narrative around economic justice, opportunity, and community wealth Who You Are • A talented writer with exceptional storytelling and interviewing skills • Able to capture authentic voice with empathy and accuracy • Passionate about equity, systems change, and amplifying community voices • Experienced in journalism, nonprofit communications, social impact, or related fields • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage projects independently If you believe stories can change how people see the world (and who has access to opportunity) we'd love to hear from you.
