Summary

I do not need an expert, just a creative person with social media skills and time. Recording artist looking for a long-term team member to help build music career. Goal is to delegate nearly all day-to-day marketing, outreach, organization, and promotional activities so I can focus on writing and recording music. This is not just a social media posting job. I want someone who will think like my manager and actively look for opportunities to grow my audience and career. If you love music, are organized, persistent, and enjoy helping creators succeed, this could become a long-term position with increasing responsibility and compensation. You will own or assist with the following: Social Media Management * Create content from my existing videos, photos, and music. * Chop my videos into numerous short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. * Schedule and publish content. * Repurpose content across multiple platforms. * Respond to comments and messages when appropriate. * Research current trends and suggest content ideas. * Maintain a content calendar. Music Promotion * Submit songs to Spotify playlists. * Submit music to blogs and online publications. * Find opportunities for interviews and podcasts. * Research radio stations and music reviewers. * Submit music to contests and songwriting competitions. * Submit music for licensing opportunities. * Research festivals, showcases, and performance opportunities. * Find open mic nights, venues, and events. * Build and maintain databases of contacts. Outreach * Contact venue owners. * Contact music influencers. * Contact playlist curators. * Contact podcast hosts. * Contact event organizers. * Contact booking agents. * Contact record labels when appropriate. * Send follow-up emails until a response is received. * Research new promotional opportunities every week. Growth Mindset I expect you to constantly ask: * How can we get booked more often? * What opportunities are we missing? How do we get individual music and film industry people to respond to our 1:1 outreach efforts I want someone who brings ideas—not someone who waits for instructions. Skills Required * Excellent written English * Strong organization * Experience with social media marketing * CapCut or similar video editor * ChatGPT or other AI tools * Reliable internet connection Bonus Skills * Music industry experience * Artist management * Digital marketing * Email marketing * Graphic design * Video editing * Paid advertising * Spotify for Artists * Meta Business Suite * YouTube Studio Hours * Start at approximately 20 hours per week. * Opportunity to grow into 40+ hours per week. * Flexible schedule as long as deadlines are met. * Some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time is preferred. Compensation * $4–10 USD/hour * Performance bonuses for achieving measurable growth. * Long-term opportunity with increasing responsibility.
