Title: Structural Engineer – Solar Tilt Rack Support Analysis on Existing Steel Beam (No Stamp Required) Project Overview We are seeking a Structural Engineer to perform a structural analysis for a rooftop solar tilt-mount support system attached to an existing steel beam structure. This is a calculation and engineering review project only. No professional seal or stamped drawings are required. Project Information Location: New York, USA Applicable Standard: ASCE 7-16 System Description: • IronRidge XR1000 Rails • Fixed Tilt Mount System • Aluminum Tilt Legs • Beam Clamp Connections • Existing W12x40 Steel Beam Support Structure Scope of Work The engineer shall: 1. Review provided project documents. 2. Determine design wind loads in accordance with ASCE 7-16. 3. Calculate: • Uplift loads • Downward loads • Lateral loads 4. Determine reactions transferred to: • XR1000 Rails • Tilt Legs • Beam Clamps • Existing W12x40 Steel Beam 5. Verify structural adequacy of: • XR1000 Rail System • Tilt Leg Assemblies • Beam Clamp Connections • Existing Steel Beam 6. Prepare a concise engineering calculation package summarizing: • Assumptions • Load calculations • Structural checks • Conclusions Deliverables • PDF Calculation Report • Summary of governing loads and reactions • Pass/Fail conclusions for each component Requirements • Structural Engineering background • Experience with steel structures • Familiarity with ASCE 7 wind loading • Experience with solar mounting systems preferred No PE Stamp Required.
