I am looking for a licensed structural engineer to review a residential construction plan set and provide a structural engineering/plan review package for permit submission. Please review the scope notes and provide an itemized bid. Project Scope The scope should include: Review and stamp plans for applicable local code requirements Confirm structural requirements for snow load, wind load, seismic, frost depth, and foundation design Size structural beams, headers, point loads, and floor systems as needed Review and provide structural input for the foundation plan Identify any missing structural details, plan conflicts, or code concerns Provide stamped documentation required for permit submission Coordinate any required revisions needed to complete the structural package What I Need From You Please provide an itemized proposal that includes: Your fixed price or estimated fee for the structural review and stamped plan package What is included in your scope What is excluded from your scope Estimated turnaround time Whether your bid includes one round of revisions Any assumptions that could affect price or timeline Questions to Answer in Your Proposal Please answer the following: What plan sheets, CAD files, PDF files, or other documents do you need to complete the review? Does your bid include one round of revisions? What items do you expect the truss supplier to engineer separately? Are there any plan conflicts, missing details, or code concerns that should be resolved before final pricing? What is excluded from your bid? What assumptions did you make that could change the price? Important Notes Please also call out anything you believe is missing from the plans or scope that could affect price, schedule, permitting, or inspections. I am looking for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and familiar with residential construction plan review and permit requirements. Experience with mountain-region residential construction, snow loads, raised foundations, and custom home construction is preferred.
