Summary

I have a 10x20 wood framed garage with hip roof. I hired a carpenter to raise the ceiling joists for extra headroom, but am concerned that his work does not look structurally sound. I would like someone to review photos, perhaps video chat, and advise on how I should proceed with retrofitting support for garage roof and walls, while also keeping the additional ceiling height. I do not need stamped drawings as this will be a DIY project.
