Structured Data Extraction from US Government Legal Websites

Summary

I need a detail-oriented researcher to extract specific sections of text from official US government websites into a structured spreadsheet. This is transcription and verification work, not analysis or writing. You will be given exact URLs and told exactly which sections to find. Your job is to copy the text verbatim, record where it came from, and screenshot the source. You will never be asked to summarize, interpret, explain, or give an opinion about what any of it means. What you will do: Navigate to specified government websites (federal regulation portals and state legislature websites) Locate specific numbered sections Copy the full text of those sections exactly as written, including all subsections Record the citation number, URL, and date you retrieved it Take a screenshot of each source page Fill one row per item in a spreadsheet template I provide What you will NOT do: Summarize or paraphrase anything Answer questions about what the law says or means Use Google to find answers Use any source other than the ones I specify Requirements: Fluent written English, since you are transcribing legal text and precision matters Comfortable navigating dense government websites Meticulous about detail. If a section has subsections (a), (b), (c), I need all of them, not the first one Reliable about reporting when you cannot find something Important: I would much rather receive "I could not locate this" than a guess. Reporting that you could not find something is paid at the same rate as finding it. This is not a test and there is no penalty. Accuracy is the entire job. Volume: Roughly 40 to 60 items across two batches. Batch one is small and fast. Batch two is larger. To apply: Reply with the word ACCURATE at the top of your message so I know you read this, plus one sentence about any experience you have with detailed transcription, data entry, or document research. I will start with one small paid test task before assigning the full batch.
