Substack Ghostwriter & Blog Content Strategist for Established Female Founder

I’m an established business advisor seeking a talented ghostwriter to help launch and manage my Substack and expand my website’s thought-leadership blog. My work centres on business strategy, scale, leadership, founder identity, strategic investment, and the realities of building high-growth, women-led companies. I already have an extensive content ecosystem, including a weekly podcast, newsletters, social media content, videos, and years of existing intellectual property. I’m not looking for generic content or surface-level business advice. I need someone who can take my ideas, notes, podcast conversations, and rough direction and turn them into compelling, intelligent essays that sound unmistakably like me. Scope of Work: Help establish and organize my new Substack account Collaborate on monthly topics and editorial direction Write and publish one original Substack essay per week Repurpose the strongest Substack content into two to four SEO-conscious website blog posts per month Format and publish each essay directly to Substack Deliver completed blog copy to my web designer, who will handle uploading it to my website Suggest titles, subtitles, and content angles that strengthen discoverability and thought-leadership positioning Make reasonable revisions based on feedback You will not be responsible for: Uploading content to my website Social media management or captions Meta advertising Graphic design Managing my broader content calendar The Ideal Candidate: Is an exceptional long-form writer and storyteller Can capture a confident, direct, sophisticated, business-focused voice. Understands ghostwriting and can preserve the founder’s perspective rather than inserting their own Can work effectively from voice notes, podcast transcripts, bullet points, existing content, or rough outlines. Understands how to turn one strong idea into multiple distinct pieces without making the content feel repetitive. Has experience writing newsletters, essays, executive thought leadership, or business content. Understands basic SEO and how to structure blog content for search without compromising the writing Is reliable, communicative, organized, and comfortable managing a consistent weekly publishing schedule. Has experience with Substack or is confident learning and managing the platform. This is best suited to someone who understands that thought leadership should establish authority, introduce original ideas, and build a recognizable point of view—not simply fill a publishing calendar.
