Substack Strategy & Content Migration

Hi! We are looking for a Substack strategist and newsletter specialist to help us launch and grow a paid Substack publication for **Alternative Processes**, a photography organisation focused on photographic printmaking, alternative processes, and accessible creative education. Website: [www.alternativeprocesses.org](http://www.alternativeprocesses.org) Instagram: @alternativeprocesses Alternative Processes has a strong and engaged Instagram presence, an established online course, and a successful mailing list currently hosted on Flodesk, with high conversion rates. We also have a large archive of existing material, including images, videos, tutorials, educational content, essays, and newsletters. We are now looking to build Substack as a new editorial and community platform (a way to expand our audience, reach new readers, and develop a paid subscriber base) - not interested in bringing traffic ourselves from other social media The ideal person will help us: * Create a Substack strategy tailored to our brand, audience, and existing content ecosystem * Advise on how to position free vs paid content * Migrate and adapt selected newsletters from Flodesk to Substack * Rework existing written material so it feels native to Substack * Suggest ways to grow the publication organically through Substack’s discovery tools, recommendations, and network effects We are not starting from scratch: we already have a strong visual identity and a clear educational niche, so for us it's important to respect our tone of voice.
