Supabase/TypeScript Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Supabase/TypeScript backend developer to enhance the functionality of an existing React Native social networking application. The application and Supabase environment are already operational. We need someone who can quickly grasp the existing architecture, implement the required integration features, and write clean, production-ready code. Task Description Implement a Supabase Edge Function that fetches fund-level investment/deal data from the Crunchbase API and normalizes it to fit the existing Supabase/PostgreSQL backend. Scope of Work - Review existing Supabase schema and Edge Function structure - Integrate with the Crunchbase API - Fetch and normalize investment/deal data - Handle missing or inconsistent API fields - Prevent duplicate deal data entry - Implement proper error handling - Securely manage API credentials on the server side - Submit completed work via a clean GitHub Pull Request (PR) Tech Stack Supabase, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Supabase Edge Functions, REST APIs, GitHub, React Native / Expo Deliverable One Crunchbase integration feature implemented via a Supabase Edge Function (tested and submitted as a GitHub PR). Please work within the existing architecture rather than attempting to redesign the application. Important Notes: We are looking for someone who works efficiently and can complete clearly defined tasks without unnecessary delays. We are not interested in developers who drag out simple tasks over an unnecessarily long period. Please propose a realistic schedule upfront and communicate immediately if any significant issues arise that block progress.
