Supplement Formulator – Functional Wellness Drink Mix

We are looking for an experienced supplement formulator to help develop a premium functional wellness drink mix for the US market. Our goal is to create a science-backed product that supports energy, recovery, performance, cognitive function, metabolic health, and healthy aging while maintaining excellent taste, mixability, and consumer compliance. We are not looking for another generic greens powder or multivitamin. We want someone who can help us develop a truly differentiated product with strong scientific rationale and commercial viability. Responsibilities: - Research and recommend evidence-based ingredients. - Develop complete formulations, including ingredient dosages and rationale. - Identify ingredient synergies and potential interactions. - Balance efficacy, taste, cost, and manufacturability. - Optimize formulations specifically for powdered drink mix format. - Evaluate emerging ingredients and market opportunities. - Ensure formulations align with current dietary supplement regulations. - Collaborate with our team on product positioning and ingredient strategy. Requirements: - Proven experience formulating dietary supplements, functional beverages, or powdered drink mixes. - Understanding of ingredient bioavailability, dosing strategies, and formulation science. - Experience working with commercial manufacturers and ingredient suppliers. - Ability to provide scientific justification for formulation decisions. Preferred Experience: - Experience developing products similar to AG1, IM8, Timeline, ARMRA, Cymbiotika, Momentous, or other premium wellness brands. - Experience bringing products from concept to market. - Background in nutrition science, biochemistry, pharmacology, food science, or a related field. Deliverables: - Ingredient research and recommendations. - Complete formulation with proposed dosages. - Scientific rationale for ingredient selection. - Manufacturing and sourcing recommendations. - Flavor and mixability considerations. - Revision rounds based on feedback.
