Supply Chain & Sourcing Specialist export & import

We are a, solo-operated export startup in Egypt shipping to the USA, Europe, the Gulf (GCC), and Asia. We export Fresh Citrus (Oranges, Mandarins, Lemons), Dates, Onions, Garlic, Dry Herbs & Seeds, and Wood Charcoal and other products . We need a proactive experienced specialist to take full ownership of daily supply chain operations and sourcing support. Scope of Work • Sourcing & Procurement: Research export-ready Egyptian suppliers and packhouses. Handle RFQs, manage vendor follow-ups, negotiate costs/terms, and help identify potential B2B buyers in target markets. • Logistics & Operations: Monitor reefer and dry container shipments from departure to destination ports. • Compliance: Review and verify all export/import documents (BL, Invoice, Packing List, Phytosanitary, Certificate of Origin) to ensure no errors and smooth customs clearance. • Liaison & Data: Coordinate with shipping lines, forwarders, and brokers to resolve delays. Reconcile invoices, track landed costs, and manage metrics in Excel. Requirements • 3+ years in international logistics, global sourcing, or supply chain management. • Familiarity with import and customs protocols. • Experience with temperature-controlled reefers or dry agricultural commodities is a plus. • Advanced Excel skills for cost tracking and operational reporting.
