IT Support Technician – Hardware & End-User Support Project Overview We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to assist with hardware deployment, troubleshooting, device lifecycle management, and end-user technical support. The ideal freelancer will have experience supporting desktop environments, resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate service documentation. Responsibilities Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and related peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Perform device upgrades, replacements, and refresh activities. Execute installation, move, add, and change (IMAC) requests. Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks. Document work performed and update service tickets accurately. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution. Required Skills Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting. Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications. IT service management and ticketing systems. Network connectivity troubleshooting. Strong communication and customer support skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in enterprise IT support environments. Familiarity with service management frameworks and best practices. Relevant technical certifications are a plus. Deliverables Timely resolution of assigned support requests. Accurate documentation of completed tasks.
