Surface Pattern Designer – Floral Seamless Repeat for Production

House Horse Supply Co. is seeking an experienced textile/surface pattern designer and illustrator to professionally recreate an already-approved floral design concept as production-ready seamless repeat artwork for manufacturing. This is not a request for a new design or a reinterpretation of the concept. The creative direction, floral style, composition, color palette, scale, and overall visual appearance have already been approved. I will provide a detailed concept board and a standalone pattern reference. The goal is to preserve the approved visual direction as closely as possible while professionally redrawing/refining the artwork and constructing a technically correct seamless repeat suitable for commercial printing. The design is an oversized, sophisticated autumn botanical/floral featuring aubergine, cranberry, burnt orange, golden ochre, dusty mauve, olive, and warm cream. It should retain an elevated, editorial textile feel rather than becoming a simplified, generic, clip-art-style floral. PRODUCT APPLICATION The artwork is being developed for House Horse Supply Co., a pet-products brand focused on large and giant-breed dogs. The pattern will initially be printed on webbing used for a harness, collar, leash, and coordinating accessories. The intended master repeat is approximately 600 mm W × 400 mm H. Because the primary product webbing is approximately 38 mm wide, the artwork must remain visually recognizable and attractive when viewed in narrow crops. Reference images showing the intended webbing application will be provided. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES The completed project should include: - A professionally recreated true seamless repeat with no visible seams - Editable Adobe Illustrator (.AI) source file - Vector artwork wherever technically appropriate - Production/print-ready high-resolution PDF - Exported master repeat tile suitable for manufacturer review - A repeat proof showing the artwork tiled multiple times so the seamless construction can be visually verified - Defined final color palette/color values - Artwork suitable for commercial manufacturing and textile/webbing printing The final artwork will be submitted to our manufacturer for a production compatibility review before it is used for the product mock-up. Minor technical adjustments may therefore be requested if the manufacturer identifies a production issue. OWNERSHIP & COMMERCIAL USE House Horse Supply Co. must receive exclusive commercial rights and ownership of the final commissioned artwork, including the editable source files. The final commissioned pattern may not be resold, relicensed, reused for another client, or offered as stock artwork. Any third-party or stock elements incorporated into the work must be disclosed and approved in advance. Preference will be given to designers who can personally recreate/illustrate the artwork rather than relying on stock floral assets.
