We are seeking a skilled contractor to optimize our Employment Hero HRIS and enhance data flow to downstream systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in Employment Hero and data integration, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficiency. This full-time role based in Sydney Australia requires intermediate proficiency and offers a flexible schedule. Allied Credit is reviewing how to optimise its HR technology stack, with Employment Hero (EH) positioned as the primary source of truth and key platform. While we have had EH in place for approximately 5 years, a number of our HR processes remain fragmented across systems, spreadsheets and manual workflows. We are now looking to engage a specialist to help us rationalise, standardise and fully leverage EH across our core HR processes, and to automate data flows to other downstream systems (particularly our Payroll system, DataPay). We are interested in consultants with expertise in configuring EH and implementing automation solutions for pushing data to downstream systems and teams. The preferred consultant would combine process redesign with hands-on system optimisation in EH and data flows. Below is a short RFP outlining our objectives, scope and expectations. To be formally considered, interested consultants should submit a proposal outlining their recommended approach, and expected timelines and costs to achieve the project objectives. Alex Kelly – Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Request For Proposal (RFP) Background Allied Credit Group is an asset finance firm based in Sydney with 400+ employees and is an existing EH customer. While EH core modules are in place (excluding Payroll), HR processes and data sources remain fragmented across multiple systems, spreadsheets and manual workflows (e.g. onboarding, payroll, performance management, leave, document administration). The overarching HR tech stack (including downstream systems includes): • HRIS: Employment Hero • Payroll and Time sheet management: DataPay • ITSM: Halo ITSM • Finance: Workday Adaptive Planning • Microsoft Environment: Azure cloud, MS applications N.B. Further details relating to the full tech stack and downstream systems will be discussed further, once proposals have been received and considered. Objective Design and implement a simplified, standardised and automated HR operating model using Employment Hero as the primary system of record. Key goals include eliminating manual processes, improving compliance, increasing automation and enhancing data integrity, via optimising data flows to downstream systems and teams. Scope – Phase 1 (Assessment) Review current HR processes, identify inefficiencies and assess current use of Employment Hero capabilities, and features for optimising data flows. Scope – Phase 2 (Solution Design) Define standardised processes, develop end-to-end workflows, recommend the approach to system configuration and opportunities to optimise data flows. Recommendations should include identifying governance requirements for ongoing maintenance. NOTE: we are asking the consultant to consider and recommend various options for achieving the objectives, along with pros and cons for each option. Scope – Phase 3 (Implementation) Configure EH modules and implement solutions for optimising data flow to downstream systems and teams. This will include testing and user training. Scope – Phase 4 (Optimisation) Support go-live, monitor adoption and recommend ongoing optimisation improvements. Deliverables • Phase 1 - Assessment: Current state assessment and detailed opportunities for optimising EH usage. • Phase 2 – Solution Design: Options paper to be presented summarising the different solutions, containing pros and cons with a recommendation for meeting project goals and objectives. • Phase 3 - Implementation: Implementation plan, configuration documentation and training materials • Phase 4 – Optimisation: Post-implementation review with recommendations for future efficiencies and optimisation. Vendor Requirements Demonstrated Employment Hero optimisation experience along with proven success at optimising data flow with downstream systems and teams (e.g., Payroll and other external applications/systems). Technical knowledge across APIs and the ability to lead end-to-end delivery and stakeholder engagement will be required. Submission Proposal (max 10 pages), relevant case studies, CVs of key personnel and 2 client references. Evaluation Criteria Employment Hero and data flow optimisation expertise, delivery approach, relevant experience and commercial value.
