Senior Technical Talent Partner | Systems & Infrastructure Recruiter Remote | Full Time | Freelance | $1,000 USD/month + $2,000 Bonus Per Hire About Polyglot Talent: Polyglot Talent is a London based recruitment advisory helping high growth technology startups hire exceptional technical talent. We're currently supporting an ambitious US deep tech company and are looking for a recruiter who specialises in backend infrastructure and distributed systems hiring. What you'll recruit: You'll recruit for 3-4 positions including: Distributed Systems Engineers Platform Engineers Infrastructure Engineers ML Systems Engineers Backend Engineers Cloud Engineers Site Reliability Engineers DevOps Engineers What makes this role different This is not a high volume recruitment position. The majority of your work will involve identifying passive candidates through research and market mapping. Approximately: 60 to 70% sourcing 30 to 40% interviewing, assessment and candidate management Responsibilities Build sourcing strategies. Map engineering talent markets. Identify passive candidates. Conduct outreach. Build relationships with senior engineers. Conduct structured interviews. Complete candidate scorecards. Present shortlisted candidates. Manage candidates through the recruitment process. Work directly with our founders on hiring strategy. How we expect you to source We provide LinkedIn Recruiter. However, we expect most sourcing to happen outside traditional channels. Examples include: GitHub Open source communities Conference speakers Engineering blogs Technical newsletters Research papers Google Scholar Hacker News Reddit Slack communities Discord communities Industry referrals Meetups Engineering podcasts We're looking for someone who enjoys uncovering talent rather than simply searching databases. Requirements: 5+ years engineering recruitment experience. Experience recruiting backend, infrastructure or platform engineers. Experience recruiting passive candidates. Strong interviewing ability. Excellent English. Full time availability (around 40 hours per week). Compensation: $1,000 USD per month. $2,000 USD bonus for every successful hire. Monthly payments. Initial project expected to last around 3 months with long term opportunities available.
