Systems & Procedures Consultant

Description: We are a small Australian modular construction company building premium cabin-style pods. We are looking for an experienced systems and procedures person to help us document and improve our internal processes so we can scale properly. We need someone practical, organised, and confident turning messy startup operations into clear workflows, SOPs, checklists, templates, and repeatable systems. Construction, manufacturing, or project-based business experience would be highly regarded but is not essential. We need help with: Materials ordering systems Supplier workflows Build schedules and production tracking Repeatable build process documentation Quality control checklists Problem-solving and escalation processes Internal SOPs and templates Project tracking and accountability systems Must have: Excellent written and spoken English Experience creating SOPs, workflows, or procedures Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to simplify complex processes Confidence to suggest improvements, not just take notes Ability to work independently Nice to have: Construction, modular building, manufacturing, or trade coordination experience Procurement or materials ordering experience Experience with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, project management tools, or CRM systems We would like to start with a small project first, with potential for ongoing work if it is a good fit.
