TTRPG Book Layout Designer (Affinity Publisher | Fantasy / 5E Experience)

I’m creating a tabletop RPG (TTRPG) book and need a layout designer to produce a clean, professional, and atmospheric interior layout. The project is approximately 50–60 pages and follows a fantasy / grimdark-style aesthetic. I’m looking for someone who understands structured, readable layouts used in TTRPGs (especially 5E-style books). I will provide all text, artwork, and clear instructions. Your role is to turn that into a polished, print-ready book. Requirements: Experience with book layout / editorial design Familiarity with TTRPGs or rule-heavy documents is strongly preferred Ability to work in Affinity Publisher (preferred) and provide editable files Strong understanding of: Typography and hierarchy Tables and structured content Clean, readable layouts Scope of Work: Layout design for a 50–60 page TTRPG book Apply consistent typography, hierarchy, and spacing Integrate provided text and artwork Create reusable components: Headers / sections Stat blocks Tables Callout boxes Style Direction: Dark fantasy / grimdark tone Clean and readable (game usability is priority) Structured layout similar to D&D-style books Avoid overly chaotic or experimental layouts Deliverables: Print-ready PDF (with bleed, margins, etc.) Editable source files (Affinity Publisher preferred) Organized file structure for future edits Project Details: Length: 50–60 pages Application Requirements: Please include: Relevant portfolio (book layouts, RPGs, or similar work) Tools you use (Affinity / InDesign / others) Your estimated timeline Screening Question (Required): How would you design a clean and readable stat block for a TTRPG page?
