Tabletop Game & Packaging Designer for Educational Kids' Game (MVP Pilot)

About the Project: We are a global EdTech company (Novakid) fast-tracking a new physical subscription box MVP for kids ages 7–9 called the Secret Agent Club. We are looking for an experienced tabletop game and physical product designer to help us build our first pilot game ("Episode 1"). This is a physical kit that will be shipped to 100–150 families. What We Need Help With: We have the rough concept ready, but we need an expert to help translate it into a finalized, working physical product. Your responsibilities will include: Game Mechanics & Story Integration: Refining the 30-minute independent tabletop game loop so it is highly engaging for kids and easy to follow. Component & Structural Layout: Designing the physical layout and print-ready files (dielines) for a "Top Secret" paper dossier folder, puzzle pages, and sticker sheets. Packaging Optimization: Helping ensure the box dimensions and layout hold the physical elements perfectly for assembly. Our Core Direction: 100% Independent Play: The game must require zero parent setup or cleanup. Resilient to Churn: The physical mechanics and story cliffhangers must make kids excited for the next episode immediately. Omnichannel Connection: The physical game loop needs to tie back into our platform and connect directly to our digital Novakid lessons. Project Timeline & Logistics: We are on a very tight schedule for this pilot and want to onboard the right designer immediately.
