# Technical App Verification, Compliance & Connector Engineer Intern ## About the Role Perceive Now is looking for a driven **Technical App Verification, Compliance & Connector Engineer Intern** to help bring our third-party integrations from development-ready to **fully verified, approved, and production-ready** across major enterprise and social media platforms. This is a **hands-on, high-ownership technical internship** suited to a final-year student, recent graduate, or early-career engineer with strong practical experience in APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, cloud platforms, application permissions, and technical documentation. Most of our enterprise integrations are already built. Your primary focus will be validating these integrations and helping navigate each provider’s developer portal, OAuth verification, security review, compliance requirements, marketplace approval, and production-publishing process. For social media platforms, you may also complete, test, or troubleshoot connector functionality where required. You will work closely with our engineering team while gradually taking independent ownership of specific platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants direct experience with **real-world enterprise integrations, production OAuth applications, platform verification, API security, and multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure**. ## Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: * Has strong foundational knowledge of REST APIs and OAuth 2.0. * Has built API integrations through coursework, internships, freelance work, open-source contributions, hackathons, or personal projects. * Is comfortable navigating technical documentation and unfamiliar developer portals. * Can troubleshoot authentication, permission, token, and API configuration issues. * Writes clear technical documentation and pays close attention to detail. * Is persistent when working through platform reviews, unclear requirements, and rejected submissions. * Can communicate professionally with external platform-support and review teams. * Is comfortable asking questions while progressively taking independent ownership. Previous professional experience with app verification is valuable, but not required if you can demonstrate strong technical ability and relevant hands-on projects. ## Required Technical Skills * Understanding of **REST APIs and OAuth 2.0** * Familiarity with OAuth scopes, permissions, consent screens, redirect URIs, access tokens, and refresh tokens * Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or Node.js * Understanding of JSON, HTTP, API authentication, and authorization * Familiarity with webhooks * Experience debugging APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools * Basic knowledge of Git and modern software-development workflows * Ability to read and understand existing backend integrations * Strong technical writing and documentation skills * Strong troubleshooting, research, and problem-solving abilities ## Preferred Experience Exposure to one or more of the following is preferred: * Google Cloud Console and Google OAuth * Microsoft Entra ID application registration * Meta Developer Platform * Facebook or Instagram Graph APIs * LinkedIn APIs * X API * YouTube Data API * TikTok APIs * Reddit API * Salesforce, Slack, HubSpot, Atlassian, QuickBooks, DocuSign, or Stripe integrations * Multi-tenant OAuth applications * SaaS integrations * Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure * Security, privacy, SOC 2, or enterprise compliance requirements * CI/CD and multi-environment deployments Academic projects, personal projects, internships, freelance work, and open-source contributions will all be considered relevant experience. ## What You Will Gain Through this internship, you will gain practical experience in: * Taking real SaaS integrations from development to production approval * Managing OAuth applications across major enterprise platforms * Working with social media publishing and analytics APIs * Preparing security, compliance, and data-flow documentation * Responding to platform-review questions and resolving rejected permissions * Testing multi-tenant integrations in development, staging, and production * Working within an enterprise AI and automation platform * Building repeatable verification processes for a growing connector ecosystem ## Success in This Role You will gradually learn to take ownership of an integration through: **Requirement Review → Technical Validation → Configuration → Testing → Documentation → Submission → Platform Review → Issue Resolution → Approval → Production Publishing** Success will be measured by the quality and completeness of your work, the reliability of the connectors you validate, the clarity of your documentation, and your ability to progressively manage platform-verification processes with greater independence. ## Internship Structure This is a practical, execution-focused internship with direct exposure to production systems and enterprise integration requirements. You will work closely with experienced members of the product and engineering team while owning clearly defined connector and verification deliverables. Candidates who perform strongly may be considered for an expanded or longer-term role as Perceive Now’s integration ecosystem continues to grow. ## Application Requirements Please include: 1.
