We're developing a premium pair of snowboard impact shorts and are looking for an experienced Technical Apparel Designer / Garment Technologist to help take our concept through to production. We already have a clear visual design and a manufacturer in China. The challenge is translating our design into a professional technical specification that the factory can manufacture accurately. Our previous sample came back significantly different from our intended design because the factory interpreted our images incorrectly. We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between concept and production. About the Product The product is a premium snowboard impact short designed to be worn underneath snowboard trousers. It combines: Tailbone protection Hip protection Thigh protection Stretch compression fabric Breathable construction Low-profile fit under outerwear The product must provide excellent impact protection while also looking modern, premium and streamlined. Appearance is extremely important to us because we believe products that look better are easier to market. Current Situation We already have: ✔ AI concept renders showing exactly how we want the product to look ✔ Existing production samples from our factory Unfortunately the factory interpreted the design incorrectly and produced something much bulkier than intended. We need someone to turn our concept into production-ready specifications.
