Technical QA Automation Engineer for SaaS App - Playwright, Vercel, GitHub, AI Estimate QA

We are looking for a technical QA freelancer to help test and stabilize DoneBuild, a SaaS product for contractors/remodelers. This is not a basic manual testing role. We need someone who can do manual QA, write or update Playwright tests, review GitHub PRs, test Vercel preview/develop deployments, and create clear bug reports for our developer. Main work: - QA new PRs and features before merge. - Test web and mobile flows. - Test estimate creation, AI estimate generation, PDFs, emails, payments, invoices, receipts, change orders, onboarding, and client-facing flows. - Create regression test plans. - Write or update Playwright tests when needed. - Use AI tools to create edge cases and speed up QA. - Send clear bug reports back to the developer with exact repro steps, screenshots/videos, expected result, and actual result. - Re-test fixes and say clearly: ready / not ready. Important product areas: - AI estimate generation for kitchen, bath, remodeling, and contractor scopes. - Estimates in the $30k-$80k range. - Mobile/responsive UI. - Email delivery and preview/develop environment behavior. - Payment and PDF flows. - GitHub PR review and Vercel preview testing. Required skills: - Playwright - TypeScript or JavaScript - GitHub PRs - Vercel preview/develop deployments - Browser devtools - SaaS QA - Strong written bug reports - Manual exploratory testing - Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, or Claude Nice to have: - Experience testing AI/LLM products - Experience with contractor, construction, remodeling, estimates, invoices, or payments - Basic Next.js/React understanding To apply, please answer: 1.
